All done...
Our morning started with a 4:45am arrival at the surgery center, semi-anxiously waiting around till he went into surgery just before 7am, sitting in the waiting room ever so thankful to be distracted by my mom and our equally enthusiastic long discussion about organizers (we discovered we've both been obsessively perusing the Filofax website lately), and then helping a groggy, bandaged Sean get home. We were settled in at home by 10am and he's been doing really well...earlier he was watching the Olympics and wanted to read the newspaper...then the vicodin kicked in and he is asleep sitting up in the bed with the remote in his hands...I'd help him lay down, but I think sitting up is probably better for the whole drainage situation he's got going on which is why I am a crazy lady draping old towels on our pillows and downstairs on the couch just in case. :)
And here is a peek of our weekend...basically more movies in a few days than we have probably seen in the last two years combined...
and all that movie watching just begged for some movie candy to go along with it. :)
I am so glad to be one the other side of this now...I guess it's always the fear of the unknown that gets me the most.
And most importantly, thank you so very much for all the well wishes...
did he have his sinus "cleaned" out. ouch. my friend has done that three times! when they remove the "packing" give him something to hold on to, but not your hand.

Hope your dh is doing well! I had sinus surgery in June and am SO thankful I did--it has changed my life! For the first time in years, I can breathe and my sense of smell and taste are so improved.I hope your dh has an easy recovery and is breathing clearly soon. (I slept almost sitting upright for a couple of weeks after my surgery; it helped when things started draining. Now, I'm so used to it, it's pretty comfy. LOL!)

Juno is good. Since my hubby and I struggled with some infertility issues, parts of it made those feelings flare up some, but it is a good movie.
Sounds like Nurse Nora will be doing her best this weekend. Good luck, and I hope the healing goes quickly.

Glad he is doing well...love your movie choices. I don't know if you're a reader, but if you ever get the chance to read The Other Boylen Girl...do it! It's a great book, and Phillippa Gregory wrote some other good books as well. Love my historical fiction!!!
Ah...Juno...just enjoy! Absolutely loved it. :)

I'm glad to hear Sean is doing well. I hope the weekend goes easy for all of you.
Have fun watching all those movies. You will have to give us a "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" on them so we all know which to rent :)
