that's how many of us went to dinner at our favorite Chinese food restaurant last night after all the days festivities...good food, cackling laughter, catching up with each other...I was having the time of my life.
Okay, I'm going to try and share this without crying...so far this weekend has included...
...my friend Vanessa and her friend George flying in from Oregon on Friday afternoon (where they just both graduated from law school) to stay with us for the weekend...it's been amazing to meet George...I looooove him--he's sweet, witty and always has his camera ready
...going to tea with Vanessa, George and meeting my other friend Megan there on Saturday morning
...a "surprise" party with about two dozen various friends...that I discovered Sean has been planning for OVER A YEAR
...my friends Monique and Matt and Tiffany flying in from Northern California and Ohio respectively...shocked the bejeezes out of me when they showed up in the middle of the party...STILL cannot believe we're all together
...getting a scrapbooking Sean arranged to have a bunch of my scrapping friends and family make layouts for me...for those of you who made pages THANK YOU...THANK YOU...THANK YOU...there are no words for how much your kindness and friendship means to me
...and today Vanessa, George, Tiffany, Monique, Matt, Megan, Sean and I are going to Disneyland...we figured out yesterday that we all haven't been together since 2001...these college friends (and their husbands/law school friends) are so freaking precious to me...I can't believe I get to spend another day with everyone all together
This is hands-down, no contest, truly the best birthday of my life...
