Is it just me, or does the start of the school year feel like New Year's to anyone else? You know, everything is just kicking off and your totally goal oriented...wanting everything fresh, clean, and organized?
Or maybe it's just me in my typical organizational craziness? :)
Well, I'm all into it...so much so that I started cleaning out and straightening up our garage at about 8pm tonight...then I convinced a reluctant Sean that his workbench needs an organizational over-haul.
You see, my dear husband has a fairly careless, pack-rat mentality and I can only tolerate so much...which of course is not so much. :)
Whether it was my enthusiasm or insistence, somehow it's 11pm and he's all into it too now...granted he's wrapping it up for the night...but I dare say he enjoyed dictating the list of various hardware and gardening supplies that need purchased containers to be organized...I think when it's all said and done he'll see that a little organization never hurt anyone.
I asked him tonight, "How do I know how to do this?"...I mean it's not like I've read books about it...somehow the steps of getting something organized have seeped into my mind and seem like the most natural thing in the world...whether that's a blessing or a relentless compulsion, I don't know. :)
But this I do know...if he asks for my label maker tomorrow I'm breaking out the camera for documentation of the momentous event!
Maybe he'll let me at his classroom next? A girl can dream, right? :)
