I just might have done a little victory dance in my kitchen last night when it was confirmed that this 23.7 bird was cooked perfectly which was such a relief since I had worried about it all day long...and why was I cooking turkey almost three weeks before Thanksgiving? Because of "Friendsgiving"...a tradition with one of our groups of friends.
We hosted again this year which meant we were officially on turkey duty (and soup and stuffing duty too). This meant we rearranged the dining room and living room furniture to make plenty of room for everyone...
It also meant I couldn't resist an attempt at craftiness...with some place-cards and mix CD's as little favors...
